Our Story

A Studio Built on Intention

Jacobson Portrait Studio was founded on a simple belief: your image is your first introduction, and it should never be an afterthought. Located in the heart of State Center, Iowa, we've spent over a decade helping professionals, families, and individuals present their best selves to the world.

We don't believe in rushed sessions or cookie-cutter poses. Every portrait begins with a conversation—understanding who you are, what you need, and how you want to be seen. The result is imagery that feels authentically you, yet elevated beyond what a casual snapshot could ever achieve.
